I am really bad at remembering to post

I have bought a ridiculous amount of cosmetics since my last post but I haven't bothered to do any reviewing or what not. I am going to try and resolve to at least do 1 post per week for a while and go from there. I also want to use my own photos instead of just generic promo shots, so bear with me and my lackluster photography skills.

Ok, here is a quick mashup of some things I have been up to:
For a while I went a bit nuts on these Hautelook cosmetics sale and one of them was a $2 Urban Decay sale. I got this stuff:
From left to right:

Matte Eye Shadow - Chronic
Really pretty and a great quality, but I haven't used it very much. It is really pigmented.
 Ink for Eyes - Pyrotechnics
A sparkly white cream sort of thing that I am not sure I like. I tried it on when I got it, but haven't used it since.
XXX Shine Lip Gloss - Heatherette
A  beige-ish lip gloss. I like it.
Urban Decay Rocks
These are little crystals and a glue to stick them onto your face etc. I have used them on my nails a few times and it was cute.
Loose Pigment - Asphyxia
A lovely pink pigment in the world's most awkward container. I haven't used it as a result of this, but maybe I would if I dumped them into something else or used them to make franken polishes or something.
Loose Pigment - Yeyo
See above only in a pretty sparkly white.
Smoke Out Eye Pencil - Maui Wowie
A sort of brownish eyeliner that I was not overly fond of.

Considering everything here only cost me $2 bucks a pop I think it was all great and worth it, but had I wouldn't have paid full price for most of it.

I also decided to quit biting my nails as a new year's resolution so have been on a bit of a nail polish kick. Here are a few of the colours I bought while in the States recently:

Here are a few not great pics of recent manicures ( I need to start taking pics after cleanup, not before):

This is OPI We'll Always Have Paris Suede which is REALLY gorgeous in person, but I was not able to capture it well with the camera.
This is with flash
And this is without. The finish is really great so I didn't want to use a top coat to gunk it up. Instead I used the sandwich method and did 1 coat of Orly Bonder, one coat of colour, another coat of bonder, and then a final coat of colour. That way it didn't chip for like 4 days.

I also got a few of China Glazes Crackle Collection recently, so I tried Black Mesh over 2 coats of OPI Simply Smashing (The Venus Williams colour)

This picture is terrible but the effect is really cool, and Simply Smashing is AWESOME it's way less green than all the promo pictures I saw, and way more gold. Got several compliments on it. I also like that the crackle polish can be used to extend a regular manicure. after a few days when your polish looks a bit ragged, slap on a coat of crackle and bam! whole new look.

Finally, here is today's mani:
2 coats of Essie Licorice covered by 3 coats of China Glaze Doll House topped with one coat of Seche Vite and 2 more of Essie Matte About You

Ok will try to post more
